Received in 1953, #445 was one of the heaviest RS-3s, with a tractive effort of nearly 65 lbs. Assigned to ore service for the Reading, you can recreate the freight-hauling capabilities of the Reading RS-3 on your railroad with K-LINE’s realistic Reading Freight Car 5-PAC. Equipped with an operating smoke unit that creates a realistic plume of smoke, the RS-3 also features steel gears and bronze bearings at critical wear points to replicate the longevity of the Reading RS-3.
