The Southern Crescent was the first excess-fare train to operate through the South, and the train’s heavyweight passenger cars offered every modern comfort and convenience. These 18” reproductions feature realistic interiors reminiscent of the luxurious elegance of rail travel in the 1920s. Painted in the Virginia-green and gold livery of the Southern Railroad, each car is named in honor of a distinguished Southerner nominated by governors of the states through which the train traveled.
