The east-coast Atlantic Coast Line operated handsome passenger trains that ferried passengers from cold northern cities to warm and sunny vacation destinations. The ACL offered riders a speedy trip from New York to Florida.

These 13 1/2 inch Streamliner™ passenger cars feature realistic interiors and brilliant overhead illumination. The passenger trains are led by matching twin A Alco FA-2 Diesel Engines equipped with either full digital Real Sounds® or a digital diesel horn. The Streamliner™ cars were originally designed to match these Alco engines in size and profile, so the combination will look flawless on your O Gauge or O-27 Gauge layout.

The ACL reproduces the prototypical purple and silver paint scheme of the 1950s “Champion” streamliner train.

Each car is equipped with the StreamLighting® system, the innovative way to realistically illuminate the car interior. A printed circuit board with a series of small bulbs provides brilliant and consistent overhead illumination for each car interior. Each passenger car has a unique interior specific to that car’s body style.
