With this Rescue Train Set, you have the resources to handle with any layout emergency. The MP-15 Diesel is tough under pressure, as its dual motors haul the other cars to the appointed location. The engine also features a horn and a blinking red light on the roof. Three Flat Cars in the set transport four Rescue vehicles and helicopter wherever they are needed. The train also include a work caboose to transport additional supplies and an operating searchlight car for night time situations. Push a button to sound the sirens as the train races along. This set was never actually produced. It started out as being an American Red Cross set (red and white colors) to be made just after 911 occured, but the Red Cross did not give its permission in time to make a catalog deadline. So the set was changed to this generic "RESCUE" with blue and white graphics. Then after being cataloged, it was never produced and instead NYPD and FDNY items were produced instead. The Red Cross set only made it to an artwork stage, the RESCUE set made it to a mock up stage to be photographed. For the engine, the road number 705 was chosen, as that was the K-Line artist's apartment number at the time in North Carolina.
