This Scale engine is a fully detail version of the Santa Fe?s SD75Ms. These are the last engines to wear the famous warbonnet as they led intermodal consists across the west in the mid 1990s. Our engine is built from all new tooling and sports the fine external details including directional lighting and illuminated number boards you expect from contemporary production. Inside are dual flywheel motors for smooth operation that eliminates harsh starts and stops, K-LINE Cruise Control, plus full digital sound sytem for realistic operation.

Hi, I am fortunate enough to own one of these fine engines. Although I find no fault with the data quality, it would seem a footnote might be appropriate. From its own pocket, Lionel paid for the engineering completion on these models and delivery of same. Mine is numbered 2-11561 and was delivered in February 2007 in a Lionel Box with labeling. For the purist, this might be deemed in appropriate.
