The Peabody Coal Company Diesel leads a 4-PAC of coal hoppers through the heart of coal country. This unique paint scheme replicates a bygone era of coal hauling. This Pacific Electric RS-3 is equipped with trolley poles. The unit was equipped with trolley poles before entering PE service so that they could operate signals and crossing lights. The engine was diesel powered, and the trolley poles, one up and one down, were unique in that they were there just to actuate signals, not to provide any power to the locomotive.

Equipped with the industry standard remote control system, TrainMaster Command Control, Lionel RailSounds, Smoke and Electrocouplers these realistic diesels are ready to work on your railroad.
