With the onset of World War II, the Armed Services needed to move a tremendous number of soldiers by railroads. All the railroad companies pitched in and help transport the troops across the country to training bases and ports for shipping out. The Army ordered specialized cars from Pullman and ACF, but it took some time for these to be built. In the meantime, the Army used whatever cars were available. These 15? Heavyweights are perfect to represent early WWII transport. Note the new seated soldier figures riding in each car.
