K-42406

With every new railroad merger, freight cars are scheduled to get repainted. During the brief life of Penn Central, many cars avoided the paint shops. With the creation of Conrail, cars lettered for New York Central and Pennsylvania were still traveling the rails. Today New York Central Boxcar #164204 is due to be painted in the Conrail livery.

At the push of a button, one worker slides the stencil into place and the other worker turns to paint the car. This accessory includes this unique scale boxcar in the midst of being repainted.
