After more than a century and a half of operation, the LIRR turned over its freight service to the New York & Atlantic Railway on May 12, 1997. Both roadnames are now packaged together in the LIRR Ore Car 2-PAC. The New York & Atlantic ore car represents the first O Scale offering featuring this roadname. Proto-typically decorated and numbered, these scale freight cars are a terrific addition to any layout.
