B6 0-6-0 Offers Realistic Switching

Between the years 1913 and 1926, Pennsy built a most of its 639 B6’s in its Juniata Yards in Altoona. The B6 performed so admirably that the railroad relied on these small, yet powerful and efficient workhorses, for the myriad of yard assignments across the vast PRR system.

K-LINE now offers this historic locomotive with the most exciting features ever offered. Our newly tooled B6 switcher boasts Lionel’s TrainMaster Control and RailSounds, accurately scaled die cast locomotive and tender, and electrocouplers on both the locomotive and tender. The electrocouplers will allow the most realistic switching imaginable. The sloping tender, which gave the crew better vision out the rear, includes a real coal load and separate metal handrails.

This steam switcher is up to whatever tasks you can throw at it. This B6 has plenty of power to haul a prototypical load for an 0-6-0 switcher of six freight cars. Whether in your switch yard, on a siding, or anywhere on your layout, K-LINE delivers a B6 that truly lives up to railroad legend.
