The Broadway Limited was the PRR’s most prestigious train traveling from New York to Chicago. Trains No. 28 and 29 were re-christened The Broadway Limited on November 24, 1912, named after the broad spread of six tracks from New York to Philadelphia.

After a cessation of operation during WWI, the Broadway Limited roared back into service on its 20-hour schedule, offering luxury travel matched only by the NYC 20th Century Limited.
