Alaska Railroad

From May through September the Alaska Railroad offers daily passenger service from Anchorage to Fairbanks. This 356 mile journey takes 11 hours, however, most passengers do not take the trip in one day. Most leave the train at Denali National Park and stay the night in the shadow of Mt McKinley. These 15 inch cars feature aluminum bodies, fully furnished interiors with figures, patented overhead StreamLighting and a hidden uncoupling mechanism. Pull these cars with this matching, prototypical GP38-2. Experience railroading as you never have before with Lionel RailSounds, TrainMaster Command Control and Electrocouplers. In the off-season, move freight with the boxcar and caboose.
